Orile Agege LCDA Councillors Embark on Project Inspection Tour

The Legislative Arm of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area (LCDA), led by the Leader of the House, Hon. Afolabi, embarked on an extensive inspection tour of ongoing infrastructural projects across the council area on Monday, 13th October, 2025.

During the oversight visit, which is part of the lawmakers’ commitment to ensuring accountability and quality delivery in public projects, several drainage and road construction sites currently being executed within the LCDA were visited.

The team inspected major ongoing works at Egbatedo Street, Dosumu, Elegbede, Bade Abiona, and Omoroga, among other locations.

The lawmakers assessed the pace of work, and also evaluate the contractor’s adherence to project specifications.

Hon. Afolabi commended the contractors for the progress recorded so far while reiterating the Legislative’s Arm commitment at ensuring that all infrastructural projects initiated by the council meets the required standard and are completed within the stipulated timeframe.

He emphasised that the Legislative Arm would remains committed to effective oversight functions as part of its mandate to promote good governance, transparency, and improved service delivery to the people of Orile Agege LCDA.

Other Councillors who joined the inspection tour were Hon Balogun, Hon Olukoya, Hon Adegoke, Hon Akinbile, Hon Sunmonu, the Council’s Engineer,Clerk of the House and other functionaries.
