The Chairman of Orile Agege LCDA, Hon. Johnson Babatunde received the winners of the LG News Public Primary School Debate in his office on Monday, 16th of June, 2025.
Two of the winners are from Primary schools in Orile Agege. Their names are Abigeal Sobanjo from Ibukunolu Primary School, Orile Agege and Dania Omotola Grace from Ibukunolu Primary School, Orile Agege, while the third pupil Raheem Deborah from Anwar ul Islam primary school,Ogba was also in attendance.
The competition was organised by LG News Academy in collaboration with the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) and the Embassy of Ireland.
The three top winners of the competition were awarded the sum of Three Million Naira (₦3,000,000).
The Chairman appreciated the organisers of the Debate for the Award of Excellence he received. He also encouraged the pupils to continue to aspire for greater heights.
The Executive Chairman admonished the students not to relent and put in more efforts to achieving greatness.
He further urged the organizers of the event to continue adding values to the educational growth and development in the society, noting that he would continue to identify and give them his unwavering support
