The President of Ora Grammar School Old Students Association (OGSOSA), Engineer Azeez Abiodun Olaniyan has lauded the performance of the students as the school organised 2025 Inter House Sports Tourney.

Ora Grammar School (both Junior and Senior), is situated at Ora Community , Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

While addressing the students, parents and other invited guests, Olaniyan, who doubled as the chairman of the occasion, praised the spirit of sportsmanship and talent of the students.

”I am very happy with these students. They showed the spirit of sportsmanship and genuine talents. I am using the medium to thank the management of the school for nurturing the kids to be better persons. For the record, I graduated from this same school over 30 years ago and we thank God for the blessings.
”Let us join our hands together and support these students. From Ora Grammar School Old Students Association, we want other past students to join us in uplifting this school. By God’s grace, we shall donate Sports jerseys, footballs and competition cups to the school,’ he added.

On the same vein, Comrade Maleek Raheem, Principal of the junior School who read a joint speech with that of Mr Olatunde Olorode, Principal of Senior School; thanked the parents and Old Students Association for their usual support.

He later urged the parents to continue supporting the two schools.
Meanwhile, Dr Rasheedat Oke Olaniyan , during a short lecture, advised the students to march on with their focus to attain their goals in life. She opined that nobody can succeed without striving hard.

The trained Counsellor cum School Administrator appealed to the students to shun all kind of vices and embrace strong will to succeed in life.

The Inter House Sports Tourney didn’t lack the buzz of a sporting atmosphere as the students competed for medals in 10 events including march past, 100m, 200m, 400m, relay races, Egg and sack race.

Other highlights of the inter-house sports competition include the school’s invitation relay when various schools the show in the boys and girls event.
