As the economic condition of Nigeria getting harder, food is the most important things to less privileged persons. That is the reason the foremost Islamic charity organisation, Habiba Charity Foundation raised the bar of humanitarian services and feed over 500 residents of Bode, a community under Ibadan North-West Local Government area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
Habiba Charity Foundation, with its track record, was established to cater for the welfare of downtrodden, prison inmates, juveniles and orphans.
While feeding the less privileged persons, the founder of the Habiba Charity Foundation, Alh. Abdulrasheed Sunmola, in a statement stated that feeding the residents of Bode community in Ibadan is a big deal considering the economic condition of the country as many Nigerians find it difficult to feed themselves.
He said, ”Habiba Charity Foundation embarks on this feeding programme to give succour to Nigerians who are living in Bode community, Ibadan. Feeding is the most important thing in every man’s life and we must make sure everybody can eat good food. Feeding the less privilege shouldn’t be the duty of our foundation alone but all meaningful Nigerians.
”I am using this medium to call on all wealthy Nigerians to come to the aid of the poor and contribute to the development of several communities. Let us help ourselves and feed the poor. For all of us at Habiba Charity Foundation, we shall continue to cater for the needs of the vulnerable,” he said.
During the feedback, several residents thanked Habiba Charity Foundation for feeding the residents with good food and appealed for many humanitarian gestures to the environment.
Recall that Habiba Charity Foundation has fed many communities in Nigeria and constructed many structures, sunk boreholes and other laudable projects across several Correctional centres and communities in the Southwestern States of the country.
