As Ifelodun Local Government residents look forward to meaningful infrastructural development after the just concluded Local Government elections in Kwara State, Hon. Azeez Abiodun Olaniyan congratulated Chairmanship Candidate of All Progressives Congress and winner of the Chairmanship election in Ifelodun LG Area, Hon. Yusuf Abdulrasheed Oluwafemi.
Olaniyan, in a statement released to Hotnewsnaija Online platform. disclosed that the victory is a good beginning to the Chairman and his vice, Hon Nike Ajibola.
The Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC) has declared the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winners of the local government elections held yesterday in the state.
Announcing the results at KWSIEC headquarters in Ilorin in the early hours of Sunday, the Chairman of the Commission, Baba Okanla said the APC won all sixteen Local Government Area chairmanship positions and secured all one hundred and ninety-three councilorship seats.
In Ifelodun, Hon. Yusuf Abdulrasheed Oluwafemi, chairmanship candidate of APC pulled 22,524 votes to defeat the closest candidate, PDP , who only gathered 2,727 votes.
On the same vein, Olaniyan said, ”Congratulations to newly elected Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government ,Hon. Yusuf Abdulrasheed and his vice, Hon Nike Ajibola. Now, the time of campaigning has gone and reality is here. Residents are waiting to see infrastructural development in terms of good road network, construction of quality public primary schools, establishment of more Primary Health Centres and empowerment of youths and women.
” Both Hon. Yusuf Abdulrasheed Oluwafemi and his vice, Hon Nike Ajibola must put on thinking cap and ursher in good government for Ifelodun residents. I am urging all residents to support the government of the new chairman for all Ifelodun residents to enjoy the dividends.”
Engineer Olaniyan later urged the Chairman and his vice to bring meaningful development to all areas in Ifelodun Local Government.
Recall that Azeez Abiodun Olaniyan is Ora Community born Engineer and President of Ora Grammar School Old Students Association (OGSOSA).
Under his leadership, OGSOSA facilitated block of classrooms and installed borehole for the use of the teachers and students in Ora Community.
On the same vein, Olaniyan led Administration constructed well-equipped laboratory for Ora Grammar School, gave cash and scholarship awards to brilliant students.
