It is a jubilation galore as Executive Chairman of Orile Agege LCDA, Hon. Johnson Babatunde completed the Secretariat of National Union of Teachers Orile-Agege Chapter.
Babatunde shared the news on his social media page.
He said. “I am pleased to announce the successful completion of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Secretariat, Orile Agege Chapter, located on Ibido Street, Oke-Koto.
“Historically, this building has served as an abode for Teachers during election-imposed curfews, providing them with a place to patiently await the opportunity to exercise their civic rights since the 1990s. Witnessing a structure that symbolizes the sacrifices of those who voted us into power in such a dilapidated state was disheartening, prompting us to embark on a renovation mission.
”It brings me immense joy to witness the remarkable transformation of this building, now adorned with a rejuvenated appearance. Our administration is committed to leaving an indelible mark, ensuring that no aspect goes unnoticed in our efforts to enhance and uplift our community.”
