Wale Ahmed Meets Agege & Orile Agege Media Practitioners, urges Agege Youths to embrace Ongoing Police Recruitment Exercise

The Honourable member repressing Agege Federal Constituency, at the Federal House of Representatives, Fct. Abuja and the Vice Chairman House Committee on Police affairs, Hon. Dr. Wale Ahmed, today met with Community Media Practitioners from Agege Federal Constituency, during the meeting the Law maker task the press men not to relent on their efforts and commitment towards the development and progress of Agege Federal Constituency, according to him it’s a collective responsibility which requires the involvement of everyone of us.

The Honourablememberwentfurther, that I am elected to represent the good people of Agege Federal Constituency does not mean I can do the Job alone. I need everyone of you like I need my constituents too to be part of the assignment before us.

“My primary aim is to help improve the lives of our people in Agege Federal Constituency. I am determined and committed towards the upliftment of lives in Agege, the development of our youths and others is of paramount importance to me as a representative, so we must all come together and ensure all hands are on deck to ensure the good people of Agege gets quality representation and enjoy the dividends of democracy”, he said.

Hon. Wale Hammed briefly shared with the Practitioners how he was privileged to be educated and accomplished so many things in life considering his background and how things were not so easy for him during his secondary school and university days and also taking into consideration the community he came from, Agege.

He, went further to task the youths of Agege to embrace every opportunity that comes their way. He also noted that he is a representative to all the good people Agege, irrespective of their political affiliation, gender, colour, tribe, race, religion, language and others.

“I am not a politician who discriminate, but a politician ready and available to serve every residents of Agege Federal Constituency irrespective of who you are or the political party you voted for during the election.

“I am also using this opportunity to encourage our youths to apply for the Nigeria Police Force recruitment exercise which likely to close in some weeks to come. Our youths should expect more secured job opportunities with a good career path from my office. We will ensure our youths access the best of Job opportunities in Agege, so that we can have a safe and secured Agege Federal Constituency”

While responding, the Chairman of Agege and Orile-Agege Community Media Practitioners, Comr. Oloyede Kolawole who is also the Chief Errand Officer of AgegeTv Online said;

“We appreciate the opportunity and privilege created by you to meet with you today sir, as Community Media Practitioners that we are, Agege and Orile-Agege comes first in our hearts because we are concerned about the progress and development of our communities in Agege “

“We are available to be partners in progress with you if it has to do with the upliftment of lives and properties in Agege. We also promise to discharge our primary duties without fear or favour and you should be ready to face criticism when necessary because thats the only way we can grow Agege together and also grow ourselves together as Stakeholders of our great Community, Agege”

Other members of the group also assured him of their commitment towards the task ahead and urged him to carry them along for the purpose of achieving a common goal.
