The Children of Late Chief Abdul Wasiu Olayinka Akande have donated borehole to Matogun Gasline Community, Ifo Local Government, Ogun State.
According to the statement credited to supervising organisation, Habiba Charity Foundation, the borehole was facilitated by the children of the deceased in the memory of their late father to bring succour to residents of Delani road, Matogun Gasline, Ogun State.
Habiba Charity Foundation is an Islamic charity organisation established to cater for the welfare of downtrodden, prison inmates, juveniles and orphans.
As part of the foundation’s activities, it has constructed many structures like mosques, buildings; and sunk boreholes to several under privileged communities across Southwestern States of the country.
Meanwhile, the said borehole was commissioned by popular Islamic cleric, Sheik Kamorudeen Yunus Akorede.
During the commissioning of the borehole, the founder of the Habiba Charity Foundation, Alh. Abdulrasheed Sunmola, represented by the Project Coordinator, Sister Hafsat Otenike eulogised the children for donating the pipe borne water in memory of their late father.
Recall that Habiba Charity Foundation had donated furnished barbing salon to juvenile offenders of Borstal Training Institution and set up Tailoring training centre for Female section of Ogun State Correctional Centre, Ibara-Abeokuta respectively.
The Foundation has reiterated that it will continue to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians irrespective of their religion, status and ethnic group.
