YINKA AROYEWUN BASELESS PETITION; LAST KICK OF A DYING HORSE
May we bring to your notice the fictitious imagination of One Yimka Aroyewun who as been masquerading himself as Council of Maritime Transport Unions Association, COMTUA helmsman, an illegal association which has since been dissolved by the government in order to create a peaceful atmosphere for doing transport business in Lagos State.
It is on record that Mr Aroyewun has been doing the bid of his pay masters in the opposition PDP and is poised to create confusion within the ranks of the APC and government of Lagos State.
It is unfortunate that Mr Aroyewun, who ordinarily ought to be finding reliable ways of making ends means still dwell in the dream of leading an illegal association.
Critically looking into his absurdity called Petition, he has failed to specifically point out example of his claims on qualifications and required experience, all the claims contain is purely attention seeking.baseless and defamation of character.
For the avoidance of doubt, We maintain our stance that the collaborative effort between the arms of government in the state cannot be truncated by a baseless, incorrigible, self-serving petition of a sinking scrooge.
We therefore urge your Distinguished Lawmakers to ignore the baseless petition of a drowning man looking for ways and means to bring down an achiever.
Let us state categorically that Mr Yinka Aroyewun is a known Political jobber whose experience in Character Assassination is wild. It is on record that he has blackmailed everyone including the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Lagos state, Mr Cornelius Ojelabi, even your humble self, our Right Honourable Speaker. Hon. Mudashir Ajayi Obasa.
Sir, you may wish to find out from Mr Aroyewun why he has suddenly develop hatred for Hon Sola Giwa who has been at the forefront of uniting all Maritime Industry in order to pave way for ease of doing transport business, remove the gridlock and obstacles and path a way for effective administration and prosperity of the Industry in Lagos state and Nigeria as a whole.
It is alarming, highly barbaric and myopic of Aroyewun and his cohorts to write frivolous, petty and sentiments filled petition, even threaten Protest against the Governor on the nomination of tireless, brave, intelligent and loyal party man, Hon Sola Giwa. A man who is also major driver of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu ‘s vision for a prosperous Lagos.
We therefore urge you to ignore in totality attempts by unscrupulous elements led by Yinka Aroyewun to cause commotion in the state via his mindless Protest aimed at distabilising the state and undermining the peace efforts by Security Agencies. We urge you to throw out in entirety Yinka Aroyewun s shameless show of disdain for focused Sola Giwa.
We therefore call the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, a versatile, broadminded, focused and highly intellectual personality, to promptly Arrest, investigate and prosecute Yinka Aroyewun for attempting to incite people against the state. He must be made to face wrath of the law for daring to draw us back to the EndSars days.
