Heightened by the coup in Niger, the military REDEMPTIVE campaign to RESTORE the DIGNITY and HUMANITY of the people of the affected countries, is a FORERUNNER to Africa’s finest hour.
Unfortunately, however, as that hour approaches, Nigeria, that should NATURALLY lead that charge is POSITIONING itself on the WRONG side of this ongoing history.
Thank God for internet, everything is in the OPEN these days. No secret is SECURE any longer.
So, the whole world KNOW that Nigerians are UNANIMOUS in REJECTING the idea of using Nigeria to do the DIRTY job of US and France.
The whole world know that the man leading ECOWAS as Nigeria’s president is AWAITING judicial verdict of the election that supposedly brought him to power.
Most of the Presidents in the West African regional body are themselves, not WORTHY of pronouncing the word DEMOCRACY; let alone CLAIM to be prosecuting its cause.
It is now made WORSE by the COUNTLESS allegations and contentions about the CREDIBILITY of the personality and PEDIGREE of its chairman.
How sweet it would have been, for a Nigerian President to step into the ROYALTY of its traditional LEADERSHIP role as Africa’s big brother.
If Nigeria had DECLINED US and France offer to help them remove the Niger Coup Leaders from power, I don’t think the region and indeed, the entire continent would be thrown into this kind of tension and World War 3 ANXIETIES.
Despite ALL the PLEA by All African people, young and old, weak and strong, FEW patriotic elite and the masses, the Ivorian President and Tinubu are hell bent on putting their citizens in harm’s way.
By the time the first missile is FIRED; to signal the beginning of war; in Niger, France and its allies would have SUCCEEDED in telling us; ” Yes, even though you now know our tricks and criminality against you and your continent, there’s absolutely NOTHING you can do about it.
You cannot free yourself from our MANACLES; because the puppets we have IMPOSED on you through FRAUDULENT elections etc, will DEAL RUTHLESSLY with you, should you pull any RESISTANCE stunt against our pillaging of your assets…”
Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso and now, Niger, have all ROUNDLY REJECTED the imperialist; and the list of possible countries that will be straightened up through coup d’etat, is growing.
One of the major reasons the soldiers in Niger overthrew Mohamed Bazoum, was because of terrorism.
According to the Coup Leader, Tchiani, each time the Nigerien military had the terrorists in sight and ready to swoop on the insurgents, the former President will INSTRUCT them NOT to do anything to the Boko Haram terrorists; until France gives the word!
Meanwhile, the terrorists CONTINUE to MASSACRE Nigerien people and SOLDIERS; who ‘on a normal ground ‘ would have LEVELLED the bandits (or whatever name they come as).
Under Mohammadu Buhari, this was the REALITY our Nigerian soldiers faced.
If you recall, at some point under Buhari, there were RUMORS that France was SUPPLYING Arms to the Boko Haram that have been SLAUGHTERING Nigerians in thousands.
Narrating the anti-terrorist mission he conducted, on behalf of the Goodluck Jonathan government, Marlow, a Private Military Contractor said that after they had succeeded, in the first phase of their mission, they were ALMOST DECIMATING the Boko Haram, when Mohammadu Buhari asked them to stop because that is NOT the agenda of the US.
Hope you are seeing the similarities and CONNECTING the dots…
This is one of the legacies Buhari left for Bola Tinubu in the APC-led government.
In one of his public statements, Tinubu was honest to AFFIRM that he is inheriting both liabilities and assets left behind by his predecessor.
So, he is only carrying on Buhari’s legacies as he promised during the election campaign.
Barely a day or two ago, a fighter helicopter carrying Nigerian Troops to Niger, CRASHED in Niger State; with fatalities and casualties.
Nigerian legislature, as ALL Nigerians, rejected the request to go to war.
It APPEARS that the military want to CIRCUMVENT that Legislative Order to the executive branch.
That is what has now been EXPOSED by the crashed chopper.
Considering this expose, Christians would say ‘ God is a HUMOROUS God…’
You know why…?
Nigerian soldiers, UNCONSTITUTIONALLY, en route to Niger to wage a war (that is NONE of their business, by the way), crashed in Niger State!
No pun intended please and with due respect and regard to the plight of the UNFORTUNATE Victims of this West-backed ‘ BUSY BODY ‘ meddlesome interloper war.
It is becoming DANGEROUSLY clear now, that president Bola Tinubu is COVERTLY not backing down on invading Niger.
Majority of the Pro Niger coup supporters within the sub region, continent and the world believe that, since the judiciary is YET to DECLARE the Winner of the 2023 Presidential Election via Tribunal verdict, the Occupant there today is merely HOLDING FORTH.
Properly speaking, they regard him as a PLACE HOLDER president.
That is neither good for our image and personality as Nigerians and it makes a MOCKERY of our SOVEREIGNTY as a country.
By the time this THREATENING war is over, Africa would have in the least, crumbled the command and control of the Colonialist West.
She would have also, AFFIRM her RESOLVE to STAND together with each other; to DEFEAT the internal and external imperialist THREAT; to the new Africa, Divine Intervention is currently building for the continent and its people.
Prof. PLO Lumumba puts it succinctly; when he said; ” If we go as Mali, alone, we will not win. If we go as Burkina Faso or Guinea or Niger, we cannot win. But if we go as ONE, we CAN!”
That is where we are today.
There is NO crossroad on this cause for and course to the LIBERATION of Africa.
The road is straight and the path to victory, CLEARLY defined.
We either DO it; or, we DON’T!
We are either with the new GENERATION of liberation movement and FIGHTERS, or, we are NOT!
The movement is made up of the Masses; while the other side is with the West.
Complete, with its prospects and problems, there are CONSEQUENCES for either side we CHOOSE.
Whichever side we ELECT to be, the day of JUDGEMENT (and SURELY, it DOES come) will give its VERDICT.
On that day, the verdict may NOT be in CONSTITUTED courts, but in the people’s court; as we are seeing in the countries being liberated through coup d’etat.
Like all Nigerians, my worry is that IF Tinubu’s PASSION for the PROXY cause succeeds on this ongoing Niger MISADVENTURE, don’t be surprised if Nigerian legislature do, as we say in local parlance, a ‘SHARP SHARP, MIDNIGHT passage of the LGBTQ Law in Nigeria.
This is WHY all eyes are on the judiciary in the country.
For Nigerians, that is our PRE OCCUPATION; for now.
All these BACKEND Atilogwu ACROBATICS, playing around the THREE ARMS ZONE in Abuja had better be put in check.
Rumors linking former Rivers State governor, Nyesome Wike aka ‘ Wicked Wike’ ( credit to Ondo State Governor, Akeredolu), to plots designed for the BULLYING of the judges concerning the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) judgement is not healthy for Nyesome Wike.
Those rumors have also pointed in the direction of former Justice of the Supreme court, Justice Mary Odili, WIFE to one time governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili.
Also, Lagos State’s FINEST Governor, in this democratic dispensation and immediate former minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola have been mentioned.
While I don’t want to believe the allegations are true, there is no smoke without fire; because their names are an UNLIKELY list of the USUAL SUSPECTS, who are BRAZENLY turning Nigeria into a CRIMINAL enterprise.
As ALL of us, in Nigeria and across Africa watch FEARFULLY; while the delicate situation in Niger unfolds, we MUST know we are ALL in it, now.
If you stay aloof or on the fence, that CONTRAPTION of self-centered safety will COLLAPSE under you; when push comes to shove.
We, the people (with no AFRICAN left behind) are the ones who will be left to FACE Missiles and military Tanks; while the criminal architects of the war will be WINING and DINING on the graves of the countless deaths and in the makeshift shanties of the displaced; in the name of peace dialogue.
If you choose to be PASSIVE, you will be doing so; at your own PERIL!
Unfortunately, in this DAWNING of the RISE of the Black continent, Nigeria and ECOWAS, UNDER the leadership of Jagaban are on the WRONG SIDE of history.
