All is set as District 404B-4 Nigeria of Lions Clubs International has concluded all arrangements to host her investiture Ceremony on August 19, 2023; to usher in District Governor, Lion Abodunrin Samson and other cabinet members.
Lion Samson Abodunrin has revealed, during the recent Media parley, that his district will feed over 15, 000 less privileged persons in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo respectively.
He said, ”Don’t forget that Lions Club is a community based Association. In most of the communities, there are Clubs attending to the needs of that particular communities. We shall work with traditional leaders- Obas, Baales, Local Government Chairmen and leaders of the communities. We are targeting about 6, 000 families. The Families will be divided across the 10 regions in District 404B4 Nigeria.
”The Second approach will dwell on school children. Most children in the public schools do have nothing in their stomachs while going to school. Many parents of such children only sent them to school without food. Through this, we are targeting minimum of 6,000 school children.”
