Samson Soyebi Foundation has fulfilled part of its promises of giving educational support to less privileged students in four different tertiary institutions in the South-western part of Nigeria.
The Foundation was established by Builder Soyebi Samson Olukayode Akanni, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Honey Treat Limited.
According to the initiator, the foundation was established to contribute to the lives of students in Nigeria.
Soyebi said, ”The beneficiaries will not only be provided with tuition scholarships but automatically admitted into the Star Light Academy, where they will be mentored into good leaders by industry giants. The idea is to ensure these young ones do not walk through the valley giants have conquered alone.
”The mission of Samson Soyebi Foundation is to expose young bright persons to various opportunities for success, through good leadership tutelage; as well as equipping them to serve their communities and the world at large as good ambassadors of Nigeria.”
While giving the update on the activities of the foundation, Economist cum builder explained the financial standings and how the accrued funds were spent.
He said, ”I express my gratitude for your love, prayers, and financial support during my birthday and fundraising event earlier in April. Through the fundraising, a sum of #4,535,452.60 was raised towards the payment of tuition for 100 higher institution students.
”So far, the sum of 2,819,852 was paid for 25 students of Olabisi Onabanjo Ago Iwoye, #2,818,750 was paid for 25 students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, and on Tuesday, the 6th of June, 2023, the sum of #798,161.25 was paid for 21 students of Yabatechlink Yabatech.
”This has brought our total tuition payments to #6,436,763.25 while we await payment instructions Federal Polytechnic Ede students.”
Soyebi Samson later thanked every donor for contributing to the lives of the less privileged students.
