Educational they say is key to success, the administration of Hon Johnson Sunday Babatunde is leaving no stone unturned in his quest at imparting the lives of his residents as he turned around the face of the vocational centre at powerline.
The students who were trained in various fields such as hairdressing/ make-up, tailoring, catering, decoration, tie & dye and ICT had their practical examination today, Wednesday 10th of May, 2023.
The Council mayor was ably represented by his vice, Hon Kafilat Pedro- Akanni who also doubles as the Supervisor for education encouraged the students to put in their best and not rest on their oars in their search for more knowledge,while encouraging them to make the best use of the knowledge they have acquired at the vocational centre.
She further promised them on behalf of the chairman that the best overall student in each category would be empowered at the quarterly Empowerment programme of the council.
In attendance were Hon waheed Balogun, Chairman House Committee on education, Hon Olabisi Adedokun, Supervisor for special duties, HOD Environmental services, Mrs Adedipe Abimbola, HOD Education, Mrs kehinde Oke, Public Affairs officer, Mrs Lanre- Arogundade amongst others.
