The Campaign organisation of Federal House of Representatives candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Sola Osolana Campaign Organisation (SOCO) has called on Agege and Orile Agege residents to stop failed and corrupt politicians from turning the council Areas to personal businesses.
In a Press statement made available to journalists, SOCO appealed to the residents of Agege Federal Constituency to look around and see poor infrastructural facilities, unemployed youths, dilapidated schools and poor Primary Health Centres to authenticate the facts of underdevelopment.
It said, ‘‘Let us look around and see high level of underdevelopment in Agege and Orile Agege. Many of the failed and corrupt politicians are only counting their years in political positions but have nothing to show for it in our communities. We have politicians that had used about 8,12 and 20 years respectively in power but cannot point to meaningful projects in the council Areas.
‘‘Our people are wise and have decided to vote for better Agege and Orile Agege in the upcoming General Elections. They will shun the politicians that can only count the numbers of years in power and not in infrastructural facilities.’’
SOCO later appealed to residents of Agege and Orile Agege Council Areas to support Hon. Sola Osolana, Federal House of Representatives Candidate of Peoples Democratic Candidate ( Agege Federal Constituency) to deliver to all residents.
While addressing journalists during an engagement with Agege residents, Osolana promised to give true representation at all fronts.
He said, ” Look around our communities, what have we gained from our representatives over the years? I urge you not to vote for failed and corrupt Politicians again in Agege and Orile Agege. If you elect me as your Federal House of Representatives member,I will deliver with my S.E.E.D.S Agenda. I want to empower and facilitate Soft loans to traders around Agege and Orile Agege Local Councils. It is my ultimate belief that our youths and women needed to be empowered to increase high level of economic engagements among our people in Agege Federal Constituency.
”I will at all times bring into focus the concerns and needs of the people of Agege Federal Constituency. Getting to the National Assembly on your mandate by God’s grace, my programmes will come from two flanks. Through promoting legislations that will address our needs and, through direct personal interventions to support the great people of my constituency.
“By my legislative responsibilities and instrumentality of the wide government institutions, I will work with other progressive minded colleagues in the parliament to promote bills that will have direct impact on the general well-being of our people as well as lobby for the citing of federal government-funded projects that can help in advancing the cause of development in our Agege Federal Constituency.
“Coming to my direct personal intervention agenda, I will say that I remain committed to my S.E.E.D.S Agenda that can provide Sound Health Care Services, Empowerment of Youths and Women, Education for all, Sustenance of development goals and Development of infrastructural facilities.”

The Businessman turned politician later urged the residents of Agege and Orile Agege to vote for him in order to bring better dividends of democracy to the people.
