The Federal House of Representatives Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party vying to represent Agege Federal Constituency, Hon Sola Osolana has offered Educational Scholarship Opportunities to Agege and Orile Agege Students.
The Businessman cum politician, through his Foundation, Sola Osolana Foundation concluded all processes to pay the necessary fees for interested Agege and Orile Agege students to obtain National Diploma from a reputable Polytechnic.
Initially, Sola Osolana had distributed Free GCE forms and tutorial service to Secondary School students in Agege and Orile Agege.
According to information available to journalists, the applicants must be residents of Agege and Orile Agege with Five O’ level result in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
‘’The Scholarship Programme covers courses like Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Statistics, Accountancy, Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia Technology , Graphics and Advertising.
Meanwhile, the Sola Osolana Foundation in conjunction with Novelty Polytechnic, Ibadan Campus have concluded the Screening examination las weekend to select the best applicants for the Scholarship Programme.
In his address, Osolana urged all the students to use Sola Osolana Educational Scholarship Programme to uplift themselves.
“I salute all applicants for subjecting themselves to opened Screening examination. It means you have intention to learn and become good personalities in future. The Scholarship Programme is free and kindly make use of the opportunity to faction what you want to be in future. Don’t join bad gang and let your life be meaningful,” he said.
Meanwhile, the students thanked Hon. Osolana for his gesture and pray that his mission for Agege Federal Constituency will come to past.
Osolana later promised to continue supporting the brilliant students in Agege and Orile Agege.
